VitaCounta privacy policy

1. About this notice

This notice explains how VitaCounta handles information. It distinguishes information kept on the device from information sent for an online lookup or calculation.

2. Information kept on the device

Your supplement stack, saved reports, schedules and app settings are stored on your device. StarSpun Labs does not receive this information merely because it exists in the app.

VitaCounta can be used without giving StarSpun Labs your name or email address.

3. Optional online product lookup and calculations

If you choose to enable online product lookup and calculations, VitaCounta sends only the product name, link or barcode you ask it to look up and, when you calculate, the selected product, schedule and UK adult reference details. These details may reveal health-related information.

A random app identifier is used instead of your name or email. Lookup and calculation requests are intended to be discarded after use. The final production service, provider records and deletion behaviour must be verified before this notice becomes public.

4. Label photographs

The current reviewed release does not upload a label photograph and does not provide automated label reading. If a future version adds image processing, this notice and the in-app consent wording must be updated before release.

5. Advertising and analytics

VitaCounta does not currently use advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party behavioural analytics.

6. Purchases and platform processing

The final commercial configuration is still being confirmed. Apple or Google controls its own store account, payment, download and refund records. StarSpun Labs does not receive your payment-card number through VitaCounta.

7. Support and the policy website

If you contact StarSpun Labs, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to provide. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary medical records.

The policy and support website uses no advertising, behavioural analytics or marketing cookies. Cloudflare may process standard connection and security records. The precise operational log-retention period will be recorded before public launch.

8. Retention and deletion

Use VitaCounta's delete or reset controls, clear app storage or delete the app to remove the local copy, subject to any Apple, Google or device backup.

9. Health-information limitation

VitaCounta is an information and organisation tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose a deficiency, recommend a dose or check interactions with medicines.

10. Children

VitaCounta is intended as a general adult supplement-information tool and is not directed to children.
